He routinely favored wealthy guests.
Threatened workers with dismissal.
And ignored reports of verbal abuse.
Two former employees said they had been pressured to apologize for incidents they hadn't caused.
Maya provided a statement.
So did several other servers.
Sophia read the summaries.
Then looked at her attorney.
“This has been happening for years.”
The attorney nodded.
“Apparently.”
Sophia felt anger rise.
Not because she'd been humiliated.
But because so many people had been forced to accept it.
She looked toward the window.
“I want them heard.”
