Dr. Crest faced fraud, conspiracy, professional misconduct, falsified medical-document involvement.
Damien pleaded to financial fraud and knowingly using forged guarantee.
Malcolm faced obstruction and evidence tampering.
Sophia faced charges tied to false report? She had not actually filed police complaint at moment, but fabricated evidence and conspiracy to misuse legal process. Exact charges negotiated.
She pleaded to several offenses and accepted substantial civil liability.
The staged assault remained central morally even where criminal label narrower.
Richard testified once.
Asked:
“Did Sophia Whitmore touch you?”
“No.”
“Did you touch her?”
“No.”
“Did she tear her own blouse?”
“Yes.”
“How do you know?”
“I watched her.”
“And security footage later corroborated?”
“Yes.”
“Did Ethan strike you?”
“Yes.”
“Why?”
“He believed his wife.”
“Was that reasonable?”
Objection.
Sustained.
Richard almost smiled.
In hallway, reporter asked whether he forgave Ethan.
Richard ignored.
Personal.
Then Adrian testified against Crest.
He described years.
Defense attacked him as liar.
Fair.
Documents supported.
Helena March’s old files supported.
Eleanor’s recordings supported.
Sophia’s recordings supported.
No single witness carried case.
That was strength.
Conspiracies often survive by making every person compromised.
But overlapping evidence can reconstruct truth.
Crest convicted on several counts.

Specific.
Damien lost business.

Richard did not attend sentencing except Sophia’s.

Richard said:
“Sophia tried to make my son believe I was capable of harming her.”
“The worst part was not damage to my reputation.”
“It was watching my son become someone he regretted being for thirty seconds.”
Ethan cried in back.
Richard continued:
“She also participated in a financial scheme.”
“But I ask court not to punish her for crimes she did not commit.”
“I ask only accuracy.”
Judge noticed.
Sophia looked down.
She later wrote Richard:
Your insistence on accuracy made what I did harder to hide from myself.
