Chapter 3: The Breach of the Mansion

An explosive charge blew the reinforced locks of the grand double doors entirely off their heavy brass hinges. Smoke poured into the opulent foyer as dozens of heavily armed FBI SWAT agents swarmed the marble floors in pristine tactical gear. Laser sights painted the walls, sweeping up toward the balcony where the murderous aunt was currently attempting to flee.

"FBI! Nobody move! Hands in the air right now!" the lead agent roared, his voice amplified by a heavy bullhorn that rattled the crystal chandelier. Dozens of federal operatives secured the perimeter, locking down every single exit of the sprawling sixty-acre American estate. Julian remained on the floor shielding his pregnant wife, offering a subtle, confirming nod to the tactical commander.

The aunt sprinted down the velvet-lined hallway, her expensive designer heels snapping off as she slipped on the polished hardwood floor. She desperately lunged for a hidden panic room behind a Renaissance painting, hoping to barricade herself away from the federal onslaught. Before she could even press the keypad, two massive agents slammed her against the wall, slapping cold steel handcuffs onto her wrists.

"You can't do this! I am a prominent socialite, I have senators on speed dial!" she shrieked, thrashing wildly against the unyielding grip of the agents. The tactical commander slowly walked up the grand staircase, holding up a digital warrant signed by a federal judge. "Your political friends can't save you from a federal racketeering and attempted homicide charge, ma'am," the commander stated coldly.

Down in the foyer, paramedics rushed in with a specialized trauma stretcher, immediately attending to Elena and Julian. As they carefully lifted the pregnant heiress onto the gurney, Julian handed the crumpled medical envelope directly to the lead FBI agent. The smoking gun had finally been secured, and the arrogant family of vultures was about to face absolute ruin.
